CEO and Founder
Sarah Bauder is the CEO and Founder of the Alecxih Group. Sarah has over 27 years of direct experience in developing innovative strategies and processes that address the needs of higher education.
Before starting her company, Sarah worked for the University of Maryland, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. Sarah is known globally for her insights and innovative ideas which have gained the attention of a broad variety of stakeholders. Most notably, she has served on the Executive Board for the National Association of Federal Student Aid Administrators (NASFAA), testified before Congress on three occasions, presented to Ben Bernanke and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and served as a representative for four-year public institutions on both President Bush and President Obama’s Higher Education task force for redundant and burdensome regulations.
She was elected three times to serve on the Negotiated Rulemaking team which recommends changes to the regulations authorized by Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. She has traveled twice to China collaborating with the China Regulatory Banking Commission and the Ministry of Education and provided support to the Aziz Al Ghurair Foundation for Education in Dubai in developing their scholarship program.
Sarah uses both qualitative and quantitative data to create innovative strategies that encourage accessibility, affordability, sustainability, and differentiation. She has presented her ideas at dozens of conferences.
